Author · 7 Important Women

We become the people we choose to remember.

I write about the women — celebrated and forgotten — whose courage and conviction still shape the way we live, and the way we might.

History remembers the famous few. This book is for the women we almost forgot.

7 Important Women

Exploring Role Models — Past & Present

Across generations and walks of life, seven women changed the world around them — some from grand stages, others from kitchen tables and classrooms. This book traces their stories not as untouchable legends, but as real people whose choices we can still learn from.

Part history, part invitation: who are the women who shaped you — and who are you becoming for the next generation?

Why These Seven

Role models you can actually carry with you

This isn't a list of dates to memorize. Each chapter sits with one woman long enough to ask the question that matters: what did it take, in her moment, to be brave — and what does that ask of us now?

The kind of book that makes you want to live up to something.

About the Author

Hi, I'm Carrie.

I'm an author and a lifelong student of the people history tends to overlook. My debut, 7 Important Women, grew out of a simple habit: collecting the stories of women — famous and forgotten — whose lives quietly changed the people around them.

I write for readers who want history that feels human: not a list of dates, but a set of role models you can carry with you. My work blends careful research with a storyteller's eye for the moment a person decides to be brave.

When I'm not writing, I'm reading widely, mentoring new writers, and looking for the next overlooked story worth telling.
